These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Runco app ("Runco," "we," "us"). By downloading or using Runco, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Runco. By using the app you confirm you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
You create an account by signing in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for activity under your account. Keep your sign-in secure and let us know if you suspect unauthorized use.
Runco is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Running plans, targets, calorie estimates, pace, and other metrics are for general fitness and informational purposes only and may not be accurate for everyone. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting or changing any exercise program, especially if you have a medical condition. You participate in physical activity at your own risk, and you are responsible for exercising safely and being aware of your surroundings and traffic while running.
Runco uses your device's GPS location, motion sensors, and (optionally) Apple Health to record and measure your runs. You control these permissions in iOS Settings. Some features will not work without them (for example, a run cannot be recorded without location). How we handle this data is described in our Privacy Policy.
You can invite friends with invite codes you generate and choose to share, and you may share run activity with your friends. Be considerate of others; do not use the social features to harass, impersonate, or share content you do not have the right to share.
You agree not to misuse Runco, including by reverse-engineering the app, attempting to access others' accounts or data, disrupting the service, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
Runco and its design, features, and branding are owned by us and protected by law. Your run data and content remain yours; by using the social features you grant us permission to display your shared content to the friends you share it with, so the app can function.
You may stop using Runco and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the service.
Runco is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for injuries arising from physical activity. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. We will update the date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
